WOODCUT RELIEF PRINTING DEMONSTRATION

 

Graphic Studio Gallery presents the internationally renowned street artist Maser who has been involved with the studio's Visiting Artist Programme in 2016. 

Maser was invited to the Graphic Studio Dublin to work with master printmakers developing a body of prints.

The prints for Maser’s solo exhibition ‘Foreign Language’ (11 November - 3 December, 2016) were produced at the Graphic Studio Dublin by professional printmakers.

Employing a bright color palette to create compositions with strong bold geometric shapes, Maser’s vibrant images are an extension of the artists’ recognized practice as a graffiti artist.
His new works demonstrate unassuming techniques emphasizing simplicity of form that sometimes incorporate suggestive figurative elements and geometric abstractions.
